Personal Information We May Collect
“Personal Information” is information that identifies you as an individual, such as: Name, Email Address, Telephone number and any other such information that the user provides in order to be able to use the services on the platform.

Information Provided by User
Users are either consumers or businesses that make use of the services provided by Creditswitch.

User
A User must provide a name, email address, telephone number, and a self-selected password.
Wallet funding by a User will be done via User Bank. Creditswitch does not collect financial information of User.

User may voluntarily provide additional information to Creditswitch for example, when seeking customer support or in response to surveys or other inquiries.
All information provided will be kept strictly private and confidential by Creditswitch save instances where the law requires disclosure or where necessary to provide a service to You.

The Creditswitch may obtain information about users from third parties. The platform may provide Creditswitch with additional information such as the User’s transactional history on the Platform.

Automatically Provided Information
The Creditswitch may automatically record certain information about or related to your use of the services on the platform that is made below:

Log Files – The platform may collect internet protocol (IP) address browser type, device ID, internet service provider (ISP), information about your computer and software, and links materials you request, your approximate location, referring/exit pages, date/time stamp, and other metadata. We do not use Cookies on our platform.

How Personal Information May Be Disclosed
Use of Information Obtained by Creditswitch
Creditswitch uses User information primarily to develop, operate, support, maintain enhance and provide the Services as well as use the information for other products being offered by the Company or by its affiliates. User information is also used to process wallet funding transactions; to provide receipts and reports; to resolve disputes, and troubleshoot problems; to customize and improve the Services and to enforce our agreements on our platform and our Terms of Service with Users.

Creditswitch also uses User information to detect and prevent fraud and other potentially illegal activities. Creditswitch may combine User information with information from other sources using proprietary algorithms to calculate a measure of the risk that a particular User or transaction is fraudulent (“Risk Score”).

Creditswitch uses User Information for our administrative and operational purposes. Creditswitch may notify you of changes in the services, may solicit your feedback, may conduct market research or may send you promotional materials. To unsubscribe from promotional emails, click the “unsubscribe” link in the email. In essence,

SHARING INFORMATION WITH THIRD PARTIES
Creditswitch may share User information with third-party service providers who help with certain parts of validation of user credentials, secure data storage, marketing, customer service, and other services.

Creditswitch may also share non-personal identifiable User information with third parties that help us better understand how Users use our Service or help us detect and prevent fraud and other unauthorized or suspicious activity.

The Risk Score is not a personally identifiable information, and the Company may share it with other third parties.

This will happen if Creditswitch believes in good faith that the disclosure of User information is necessary or advisable to report suspected illegal activity, or to protect Creditswitch’s property or legal rights (including, but not limited to, enforcement of our platform’s Terms of Service, and other agreements) or the property or rights of others, or otherwise to help protect the safety or security of the Services.

Except as expressly disclosed in this Privacy Policy, Creditswitch will not disclose User information to third parties for their promotional purposes.

We will share personally identifiable information with third in special situations, such as legal investigations. We may also share non-identifiable information with third parties that help us prevent fraud and analyse activities on our platform.

Security
Creditswitch has implemented physical, technical, and procedural safeguards to protect user information from unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction.
Creditswitch uses computer safeguards such as firewalls and data encryption and authorizes access to personally identifiable information only to those employees, contractors, and agents who require it to fulfil their job responsibilities.

Creditswitch takes additional care to protect User information. Creditswitch encrypts such information and transmits it under Secure Socket Layer (SSL) and Transport Layer Security (TLS). Creditswitch has taken several steps to become an extremely secure service.

Location
You acknowledge and agree that the privacy and data security laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria may be different from the privacy and data security laws in force outside Nigeria.
By voluntarily providing User information, you hereby agree that you are consenting to our collection, use, storage, and disclosure of such User information in accordance with data privacy laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.

Children
Our services are not intended for children. We ask that minors (persons under the age of 13) do not submit any personal information to us or use our Services.

Creditswitch Allows Access and Updating of Personal Information
To review, correct, update, suppress, delete or otherwise limit our use of your Personal Information that has been previously provided to us, please email, call or write to us using the contact information listed below in the “Contact Us” section and clearly describe your request.
In your request, please make clear what information you would like to have changed, whether you would like to have your Personal Information suppressed from our database or otherwise let us know what limitations you would like to put on our use of your Personal Information.

However subject to proof as the need may be; and unless there is a legitimate legal or business reason to keep such information, we will strive to comply with your request.

For business and legal reasons, we aim to keep our services in a manner that protects personal information from incidental, accidental or malicious damage.

Therefore, your deletion of personal information from our services does not immediately delete residual copies from our servers and may not remove such personal information from our backup systems.

In your request, please indicate that you wish to stop receiving email marketing communications from us.

Also, we will not disclose your Personal Information to third parties, for the third party’s direct marketing purposes.
